The band of Philarmonic Society Mantzaros is the main music part of the Philarmonic. The Band is the source of all the other parts, that consist of members of the Band, and also through the band there are some excelent musicians - soloists that nowadays are members of Greek music scene (musicians of Athens State Orchestra - Of Greek National Opera - of E.R.T orchestra - of minicipality of Athens etc) and also there are cases of international soloists (such as G. farouggias, international faggot soloist, soloist of Berlin State Opera). the Band has take part in many events and also there are a lot of prices gained, not only in Greece (AAcademy Award 1982) but also abroad (major the special award that was recieved at the International Festival of hilarmonics in Austria 1996). There are approximately 70 members that take part in the band concerts, and additionaly there are more musician that take part at parades. To sum up the band numbers over than 150 members. The Conductor of the Band is Mr. Stefanos Dolianitis and Co. Conductor is Mr. Spyros Dolianitis.
