Spyros Dolianitis

He was born in Corfu, on 1965 from musician parents, On 1977 he become a member of hilarmonic Society Mantzaros having as teachers G. Kourkoulos (theoritical music) and F. Manetas (Soprano Saxophone). On 1983 he continued his studies with D. Dapergola (Harmony), K. Kydeniati (Higher Theoritical Subjects of music), Gmont Sielie (Oboe), Stefanos Dolianitis and Nikiforos Neurakis (Orchestration and music direction of band). He is owner of diploma in singing, harmony, orchestration and direction of band. Since 1986 he is a teacher in FEM on wind wood instruments and theoritics and on the same year he become director of the student band. On 1990 (year that he become sub. conductor) he creates the jazz band of FEM (Big Band). On 1994 he become Co. Director - Conductor . He has conducted all the music schemes of fem (except from the wind ensembles, in Corfu, and at the rest of the Greece (Athens, Salonika, etc) and he also was conductor of FEM band at Vienna on 1996, at the international festival of Philarmonics that FEM win a special Honor. On 2000, at EXPO 2000 (Hannover Germany) he conducts the concert band of FEM (with the German composer S. Goldhaumer he conduct also the band of Brandemburg) and on the summer of 2001 he gave concerts on Yiougoslavia (Krusevats). He has cooperation with the composers G. Katsaros, G. Mouzakis, M. Plessas, on manyy great concerts in Corfu, and also he has cooperation with COrfiot and no Corfiot artists. He has organised classical, light and modern repertoire, and he is also in cooperation with the conductor - composer of the G. Verdi Conservatoire de Milano (Italy), composing of whom he also include for first performance. He also has cooperation with music societies of Austria and he also has many invitation from condustong concerts of wind bands at Germany and Austria. On 2002 he conduct the camber of the Dept. of Music, of the Ionian University of Greece and child chorus, while perform the opera for children "sinderella" of the English composer P.M. Davis, for the first time in Greece. Also on 2005 he conducts the philarmonic "Stadtkapelle Leonding" at Linds (Germany) dressed in Philarmonic Society Mantzaros costum. Since 2003 he is a radio producer at E.R.A. of Corfu (Hellenic Radio). Successful apperance of Spyros Dolianitis, conducting the Philarmonic Stadtkapelle Leonding Band at Lints, Austria. There were very good critics and it worths to be mentioned that he conducts the band dressed in the Philarmonic Society Mantzaros uniform. Also on September 2009 Spyros Dolianitis lead Philarmonic Society Mantzaros at Athens Megaron for a concert dedicated to music of ionian islands composers.

He is Director of the Philarmonic's schools since Nomember 2009.
