The band of the Philarmonic Society mantzaros recently has made a record with the co=operation of the ionian Univercity, Department of Musicology. the band record two rare works of ionian island composers, for a cd of the greek parliament with themes for ionian Islands.

The two recorded works are:

1. Olympic poem of Dimitrios Androni (Corfiot Composer)
2. Synfony Originale of Nikolas tzanis Metaxas (Kefalonian Composer)

The recording take place on 14/04/2005 in the ceremony hall of ionian Academy, Ionian Univercity with Mr. Sp. Dolianitis as conductor.

The CD is in printing and will be published on September 2005.
